Bay Area Travel Photography
Okay, so technically my genre isn’t travel photography, but I love to share personal posts every once and a while. Because, you know. I DO like to take photographs as a creative outlet and hopefully preserving our family’s history as well. This past year, I’ve worked really hard to talk myself into using my big camera with our family events. Specifically when we travel, since that arena is the easiest to talk myself into. Ha! My hubby and I had the most amazing chance to vacation on our own this year. And we decided on Alaska since it was on both of our bucket lists. We had been dreaming up this adventure since the year we got married. After lots of research, we landed on a cruise trip with unCruise Adventures and loved the adventurous, boutique style of travel. It was a small vessel–loaded with kayaks and skiffs– that was able to squeeze into much smaller passageways so we really got a BIG taste of Southeastern Alaska. I would recommend their adventures to anyone who will listen– just make sure to mention my name if you book. We both get a deal.
After cutting 3,654 images of wildlife and landscape down to about 100, here’s a bit of our magically vacation.
